Citizenship Program at Antigua and Barbuda
The citizenship program of Antigua and Barbuda is comparatively newer than the other similar initiatives in the Caribbean states to promote investment for development. Post-citizenship, the Antigua and Barbuda Passport allows Visa-free travel to 151 countries, including the UK, the EU and Schengen countries, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.
Eligibility
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- No criminal record.
- Pass the Due Diligence examination.
- Submit detailed medical examination report.
- Furnish proof of the source of funds.
- Spend a minimum of 5 days on either of the twin islands for over 5 years.
The citizenship allows applicants to have dependent spouses, children (up to 30 years of age), unmarried siblings, and parents and grandparents (55years or above).

Contribution to the National Development Fund (NDF) or Investment in a Government approved real estate project.
Investment in Real Estate (USD 200,000 excluding govt. fees)
Business investment (pre-approved)
Contribution in the West Indies Fund (UWI Fund)

Processing time: 4 to 6 months (average)
Validity: 5 years (initially) 10 years (upon renewal)
